All About Me

Right, so. First of all, hey you and welcome to my page - hope you enjoy!

There is an immense amount of stuff that can be said about film, TV, the actors, directors, the people behind the scenes, the fanatic audiences... so it's only fitting to find a suitable outlet for all that suppressed mumbojumbo that one just HAS TO GET OUT! And I doubt that a single day goes by without me thinking about one of the above so let me tell you there's quite a lot of material...

All through my early years of education, I felt incredibly guilty for 'film binging' as opposed to doing my homework but little did I know that in terms of my university studies, all that time spent with massive piles of DVDs and 'imdbing' would actually prove slightly more beneficial than memorising the mathematical formulas or learning about how the volcanoes came to exist (I obviously failed to pay too close attention...).

Possibly one of the proudest moments of my school career was when I discovered a fantastic way to cram for the final exams of high school. And this was to watch the boxset of Friends over and over again but change the subtitles in accordance to the specific language I was studying for - genius! Now when thinking back, this might have been one of the reasons why I did so poorly in my French, German and Swedish exams... a fact that my mum seemed to be aware of at the time, but did I bother to listen, nahhh. It has kind of become a common joke in our family that the most that our household has seen Friends was when I was studying for the finals... ha ha ha. When I started studying film at university, I couldn't believe that watching films was not only advised but actually required so suffice to say I knew that I had found my place!

So, long story short - I hope you get something out of my ramblings, my goal is above all to keep it light and you certainly don't need to be a film expert to enjoy the posts! (I mean I certainly am not one, so..)
